World's Population Forced To Succumb To GMOs!

By Theodora Filis

Monsanto, whose executives have publicly said that they want Monsanto to become the only producer of genetically modified (GM) seeds in the world, is now joined by a smaller company, in California, that has the same hope. That company is Epicyte, whose president, Mitch Hein, announced at a press conference in 2001, “We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies.” Epicyte's GM corn is financed, in part, by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Hein claims that it is a possible solution to world “overpopulation.” A concealed contraceptive embedded in corn meant for human consumption?

In the US, GE-corn, GE-soy, GE-cotton seed oil, and GE-canola, are in most processed foods. Consumers have no idea they are there, and no means to distinguish them from other items. GM foods have never been tested for human safety consumption. Yet, studies in animals repeatedly show severe organ damage and infertility/sterility.

Last May, Codex International Organization, founded by the United Nations, which regulates all foods, minerals, and herbs in the world, reported it does not believe that GMO products are food and that it places foods with these ingredients in a different place than food produced naturally, and as such, can be used for various practices, including birth control and the creation of infertility in a nation or people.

Are biotech companies, with the help of our governments, trapping us into consuming GMOs?

Whole Foods Markets recently admitted that it cannot keep biotech foods off its shelves. A representative for the corporation acknowledged, in May of 2011, that the realities of the marketplace have forced a shift in the company’s previous non-GMO policy.

Joe Dickson, the quality standards coordinator for Whole Foods Markets, notes that GMOs dominate the market, especially for corn, soy, and canola crops from which ingredients in most processed foods are derived.

“Until there’s federal government mandated labeling of GMO ingredients, there’s no way to tell if packaged products contain GMO ingredients,” Dickson said. “Our approach is to work in the spirit of partnership with our suppliers … to encourage them to take active steps to avoid GMO ingredients.”

In spite of public skepticism about GMO foods, the FDA has backed Monsanto and other biotech corporations, declaring that modified foods do not require special labeling letting consumers know they are eating GMOs.

Why would the USDA fund the creation of a corn crop that sterilizes humans? Why has The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation spent billions of dollars “helping” with the planting and harvesting of GM crops in Africa, Latin America, and Asia?

Think GM technology is directed solely at third-world countries? Think again. GMOs are directed at all countries in the world, and most heavily, at the US. Keeping GMOs unlabeled leaves us all prey to them.

Perhaps it's time the public started suing their government for forced exposure?
